Mr. Gresham has been practicing law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since 1998. He has demonstrated his unique trial experience and skills in conducting numerous jury trials to verdict many times in the past. He has represented and defended parties in large exposure cases involving significant personal injuries. He has successfully obtained winning results for his clients throughout his career.
Since the establishment of Wood & Gresham, P.C., Mr. Gresham has expanded his practice to pursue personal injury claims on behalf of injured clients. He has used his trial skills, along with his aggressive trial approach and his unique experience and knowledge of the insurance industry for the benefit of his injured clients to seek the compensation they deserve.
Mr. Gresham uses an aggressive, hands-on approach, with direct and frequent communication with clients to help them understand the process from the very start until the resolution of their matter.
Mr. Gresham's insurance background and practice has focused on litigation, with the defending of several large insurance companies in personal injury claims. His practice has involved the representation of insureds and self-insureds in the defense of motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and construction site matters.
Mr. Gresham represents insurers in coverage issues, bad faith, and unfair claims settlement practices, preparing coverage opinions and litigating coverage disputes. He has successfully litigated and defended his clients in both superior and district court matters, arbitrations and mediations throughout the state.
On behalf of his clients, Mr. Gresham assists in special investigations, conducting examinations under oath and providing coverage opinions involving issues of fraudulent motor vehicle accidents and bodily injuries, the handling of personal injury protection matters, as well as investigations into motor vehicle theft claims. His experience and investigative skills have led to numerous criminal convictions of individuals for insurance fraud.
He has presented numerous seminars and workshops for insurance companies and associations, including the New England Association of Insurance Fraud Investigators (NEAIFI) on coverage matters and issues of special investigations. He has also conducted seminars on low impact accidents, the handling of personal injury protection claims, motor vehicle theft claims, how to conduct depositions, and how to litigate bodily injury and large exposure claims.
Mr. Gresham remains active in the local community, representing corporations, small businesses, and individuals in business litigation, contract negotiations, and real estate transactions.
Mr. Gresham is also active in the Wrentham community and school systems. He has been a volunteer coach in youth recreational activities, including baseball, softball, and soccer.
Mr. Gresham has provided pro bono legal services to various local non-profit organizations. He is currently serving as a director for Wrentham Youth Baseball.
In 2012, he was appointed with his wife to the board of directors of the Ellie Fund, a non-profit organization to help raise funds for women and their families fighting breast cancer.
Mr. Gresham has been an avid New England Patriots season ticket holder of more than 20 years. He can often be found running and biking in Wrentham training for charity road and bike races.
